372 The Esplanade, Palm Beach
This project comprised undertaking a transport and traffic assessment to support a development application to the Council of the City of Gold Coast for a proposed development located at 372 The Esplanade, Palm Beach. The development consists of a single, 9 storey residential mid-rise tower comprising three two bedroom apartments, 17 thee bedroom apartments, and one four bedroom penthouse.
Geleon provided the following services:
- Assessment of site access and access configuration;
- Review of on-site car parking provision for compliance with AS/NZS 2890 (Set):2009 and Council’s Transport Code;
- Assessment of the proposed car parking supply against relevant Council requirements;
- Assessment of site servicing and refuse requirements;
- Swept path analysis of internal operations and site servicing;
- Assessment of public transport, pedestrian and cycling accessibility to/from site and on-site;
- Assessment of the development’s traffic impacts;
- Completion of Council’s Transport code; and
- Preparation of a transport and traffic assessment report to accompany the development application.
