This project comprised undertaking a transport and traffic assessment to support a development application to the Council of the City of Gold Coast for a proposed development located at 228 Pacific Parade, Bilinga. The development comprises a food and drink outlet (cafe) retrofitted to an existing two storey residential building.    

Geleon provided the following services:

  •  Assessment of site access and access configuration;
  •  Review of on-site car parking provision for compliance with AS/NZS 2890 (Set):2009  and Council’s Transport Code;
  •  Assessment of the proposed car parking supply against relevant Council  requirements;
  •  Assessment of site servicing and refuse requirements;
  •  Swept path analysis of internal operations and site servicing;
  •  Assessment of public transport, pedestrian and cycling accessibility to/from site and  on-site;
  •  Assessment of the development’s traffic impacts;
  •  Completion of Council’s transport and traffic related Codes; and
  •  Preparation of a transport and traffic assessment report to accompany the  development application.
